Senior API Engineer

Location: Birmingham/London/remote Salary: £50,000 - £75,000+ Type: Permanent

As an API engineer with Java experience, you will be an essential member of the engineering team responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining RESTful APIs to support our clients' digital experiences. You will also have the chance to mentor a team of developers at the leading edge of development within the business.

Key skills

Required Experience:
- Over 5 years using TDD in Java.
- Designing microservices architecture.
- Building RESTful web services.
- Knowledge of Containers and Kubernetes.

Nice to have:
- Experience with a major eCom platform.
- Node.js or Python.
- Ability to produce API specifications.
