What GDPR means for Simply Commerce

Here at Simply Commerce, we are committed to providing privacy to anyone who provides us with personal data and in complying with its obligations under The EU General Data Protection Regulation. 

Our People Operations Manager, Laura has attended courses and webinars provided by REC based on GDPR to share knowledge and train the employees at Simply Commerce.

Before the new GDPR came into effect on 25th May 2018, the employees at Simply Commerce had been busy undergoing numerous training sessions on new/updated processes and procedures to ensure as a business we are fully compliant with GDPR and ready to go live on 25th May 2018. 

The team have completed a variety of training sessions on how to process personal data for data subjects, giving them the full knowledge to discuss topics such as the new rights of the individual under GDPR with both candidates and clients.

Processes were already used within Simply Commerce but had to be adjusted slightly in order to be GDPR compliant. 
All of our policies and procedures here at Simply Commerce have now been updated and revised documents have been produced and rolled out within the business.
