Josie is the newest member of Team SC. It's only fair that she joins in with the Simply Commerce tradition and answers a few questions so we can all get to know her a little better!!
1)What’s your name and where are you from?
My name’s Josie and I’m from Wokingham.
2)When you aren’t at work, what do you get up to?
When I’m not in the office, I’ve got a busy diary of dinners out and socialising with friends. I tend to have lots of excess energy, so I exercise to burn this off and I also partake in a very amateur netball league on Tuesday evenings!
3)Why Simply Commerce?
After 2 years in recruitment in a huge company, I decided I wanted a complete change of scenery. Simply Commerce are a smaller company in growth and I fully believe in the vision Tim and James have for the company. The prospect of being a part of that growth is super exciting!
4)What are you most looking forward to about your new role?
Learning a new sector, challenging myself and having the opportunity for some serious career progression!
5)What is your favourite animal and why?
My favourite animals are ducks and have been since a young age – off the back of this I’ve acquired a fair few rubber ducks over the years!
6)Tell us something we don’t already know about you.
I spent 10 months travelling across Asia, New Zealand and Australia. I’m also a PADI qualified scuba diver and have dived with thresher sharks!
